Who is Dr. Moshe Kantor?
There is no way any of us can rise above the odds of life unless we rely on our personal drive to propel us. Based on how prepared we are to face the challenges of life, our inner drive can work for us or against us. Most of the times, when people are driven by fear and anger, they opt for the choice of taking the backseat and watch from the stands as things go wrong.
There is, however, another crop of people who rarely choose the easiest option of sitting back and as a result they choose to act in the face of adversity. The answer to that question is in the affirmative and Dr. Moshe Kantor is one such person whose life we need to discuss briefly. Let us take a look at what might have faced him in his early life and how he rose above the norm to conquer his adversities. We also need to look at the positives that resulted out of his struggles.
Dr. Kantor was born at a critical time in the history of the world where the vestiges of world war II were still a commonplace. The clutches of the world cold war were also being tightened at around that time. Most of the world population in those days would forlornly stare at the amount of destruction that was meted on their counterparts at the East and resign into a desperation that is beyond the words of any writer. Notwithstanding this, Dr. Kantor arose from that forlornness and chose to be different. Because of the path he took those days, today the world can smile and celebrate him.
The other adversity in those days was the Jewish restructuring. Persecution for the Jewish people was widespread in those times. Having been hit worst by the consequences of the world war, the Jewish people had nothing to encourage them in such desperate times. Dr.Kantor learned from that and has been a voice to reckon with in the lobbying for the recognition of the Jewish people all over the world. The ensuing recognition of his lobbying is nothing that can be dismissed lightly.
Dr. Kantor’s fight for the world peace and evils meted against humanity through terrorism and the use of fatal weaponry is also something that we should give him credits for. Being a family man himself, Dr. Kantor has shown us that we should respect the human life regardless of the relationship we may have or not have with such individuals.
No one should tolerate the use of deadly weapons such as nuclear bombs since they are so destructive to both the human life and the environment. These atrocious activities are never to be condoned by any people since they go against the dictates of all religions where man is viewed as the custodian of the universe. All these are some of the life lessons that we should glean from the life of Dr. Kantor.
